5.9-10 macOS 10.15.5 MBP 2020 preference mishap was created by MichelleWhy
Hi guys,
upgraded to 5.9-10 on a brand new MBP 13" 2020 and having issues to edit preferences.
Example: I want to edit Network sources. To activate the field, I have two click somewhere in between "start NMEA" on top of it. And this happens to every field I wanna edit or check, sliders etc. When I click on Local Sources, nothing happens. When I click on top of it, I get into the menu.
Not a big deal when you know about it, but you should know it.
Cheers
Stefanie

Hi Stefanie,
This is strange. Is it the tab label that is not responding or somehow the switches (king of checkboxes) ? If it is the tabs do you have the same behavior in let's say charts settings?
Cheers,
Philippe

Hi Philippe,
it's on all tabs in preferences from General to Advanced. The strange thing here is, when I click on every tab starting from left to right, it seems ok. When I go back clicking on every tab item, I need to click above the tab as if the click point moved one line above.
Inside those tabs it's in Boat and Instruments and NMEA connections only for every item.
Cheers,
Stefanie

Hi Stefanie,
It took us some time to fix that one (difficult to reproduce), but we believe it is fixed in 5.9.11, can you please confirm it?

Hi Philippe,
installed yesterday. No change, means the error is still there. Sorry.

Hmmm that sounds quite weird, are you sure qtVlm->help->about says 5.9.11 ?
