routings not saved between program starts was created by bluecolumbia
using 5.11-1 on windows
i've noticed that all of my routings are lost every time i exit qtvlm. i don't know if this is intentional behavior or a bug, but i would like to be able to save routings.
routes and pathways are saved between program starts as expected, it is only routings that are lost.
thank you...

Yes, this is the expected behavior
Routing would take a lot of data to save and would not mean anything without the proper gribs loaded.
What would be your use of restoring routing later?

hi thank you for your reply.
i think it is important to be able to save routings.
the primary reasons for saving routings are to prevent repetitive tasks for the user, and to be able to compare routings with other routings.
it is not good to find that the routings i have run are gone, and must be regenerated after a windows update restarts my computer, or after i am forced to restart qtvlm because it has become unresponsive. this leads to a lot of repeated tasks for the user. i am asking this question because i find that i am regularly repeating the process of generating the same routing.
thank you...
