Orange Pi 5 installation was created by philipdavies
Hi,
I'm trying to get qtVlm working on an Orange Pi 5 running Debian bullseye, I have downloaded and extacted the tar.gz file to the Documents folder where I can see an executable file but nothing happens when I click on it. I have also tried starting it from the command terminal.
Is there something I'm missing, I have very little experience with Linux software.
Any help would be much apprieciated.
Thanks, Phil

Hello,
We've not yet conducted tested on pi 5. But it is known to work on pi4 with Bullseye in 32b or 64b distribution.
We can have a look at the issue you're having. You'll need to do the testing with a console and from qtVlm folder.
=> when launching qtvlm with ./qtVlm do you have errors ?
=> can you try then setting this: export QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1
And then launch qtVlm with ./qtVlm
Please send use any message from the 2 tests
